| Manic Panic: | A Gothic line of cosmetics, hair dye, and accessories. |
| Mansonite: | Someone who is a big fan of the music performer Marilyn Mason. Mansonites are often obsessed with Marilyn Manson, they will try to dress like him and adopt his music and lyrics as a sad religion. They are often mistaken for Gothics by people unfamiliar with the Gothic scene and by themselves. Gothics often dislike Mansonites for their tacky makeup and clothing styles, lack of proper self-identity, and awful pretrial of the Gothic community on talk shows. |
| Masochism: | A psychosexual perversion where a person gains erotic pleasure by having pain inflicted on them. A looser definition is used to describe the behavior of a person who actively seeks out pain and/or humiliation.(see S&M) |
| Mopey Goth: | A Gothic that is very angst.(see angst) |
| More Goth Than Thou: | A phrase that means "I'm more Goth than you!" Used as a parody to "Holier than thou". |
