The founding members of Home of the Brave met during the post-election
demonstrations at the J.F.K. Memorial in Dallas, which were organized by
Trust the People - Dallas.
Since November 2000, they have have taken part in an Anti-Freeper Protest in Rockwall, Texas, smashed :cue cats in front of the Belo/ Dallas Morning News/WFAA/TCN headquarters to protest the media's biased election coverage and overt support of George W. Bush, were interviewed for the WINGS radio program regarding the :cue cat action and media bias in Dallas, protested in front of the State Capital in Austin on the day the Texas electors were certified, planned and participated in the Dallas Inauguration Day Protest and the Austin "He's Not My President" Anti-Inauguration, protested the lecture by (In)Justice Antonin Scalia at the SMU Law School, protested George W. Bush at the dedication of the Bob Bullock Library, marched in Austin in support of the James Byrd Hate Crimes Bill, participated in both the East and West Coast Voter Rights Marches, protested Exxon/Mobile Shareholders' meeting, joined the Sierra Club in protesting George W. Bush during an appearance in Birmingham, Alabama, worked in local Dallas city council and school board elections, and met with our legitimate president, Al Gore, during a recent visit to Dallas.
