Provision
Theater Company offers those who may not have the financial
capability to view theatre the opportunity to see its productions
free of charge. For Provision's first production, Cotton
Patch Gospel, a group from the Lincoln Park Homeless Shelter
attended a performance free of charge.

Provision Theater Company proudly teamed with the national
bookstore chain,
Borders Books & Music,
to provide a free special preview performance of Provision's
inaugural production, Cotton Patch Gospel, at the March 13,
2004 Grand Opening of the new Borders store in Lincoln Park,
Chicago.

- Educators Appreciation Weekend
March 26-28, 2004 -
Provision Theater Company also participated in Borders
Books & Music's
highly successful and well-regarded Educators Appreciation
Weekend program, in which literally
thousands of educators, from grades pre-kindergarten to
college, shop at each of Borders' 31 Chicagoland stores.
During that
weekend, Borders offered discounts, freebies, and special
events/promotions for educators. Through this program,
Provision offered educators at select Borders stores the
opportunity
to enter-to-win a pair of tickets to Cotton Patch Gospel.
Chicago Shakespeare Theater
Giveaway
March 4 - April 11, 2004 -
Provision Theater Company partnered with the renowned Chicago
Shakespeare
Theater to provide Cotton Patch Gospel patrons the opportunity
to enter-to-win a set of tickets to a Chicago Shakespeare
Theater 2004/05 season production. At each performance
of Cotton Patch Gospel, patrons were invited to complete
and
submit an audience survey into a random drawing to win
the tickets. The drawing took place at the conclusion of
the
production run.

March 26, 2004 - Provision
Theater Company was thrilled to accept
an invitation to perform selections from its inaugural
production of Cotton Patch Gospel on
Chicago's WGN Channel 9 Morning
News. On March 26, 2004 between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m.,
the cast took part in a skit and performed
selections
throughout the news program.
