Ten Commandments Bible Game. |

I created this game for my children in instill the Ten Commandments in them. And it encourages them to look up the verses in the Bible. For each Commandment there is 2 skill cards. One set is asking what a commandment is? For example, what is the first Commandment? The other set of cards ask which commandment is this? For example, You shall have no other Gods before me. Which commandment is this? All cards have the Book of the Bible and the verse it can be found. The gets the children to take an interest in where the Ten Commandments are in the Bible and also gets them to read the Bible. Mix both sets together. It really gets them thinking. TO PLAY THE GAME: Spin the spinner or throw the dice. Pick up a skill card. Encourage them to get their Bibles and to look up the verses which are on the cards. Once the question has been answered move to the number of spaces on the spinner or on the dice. If you land on the Commandment slabs, throw the dice again for a free turn. At the end of the game, they have all won because they have learnt a bit more about the Tem Commandments. And hopefully it will help them to remember them. I hope your family enjoy this game. Please let me know what you think, as this is my first boardgame that I have created. Print out both sides of the gameboards. And the two sets of skill cards. Glue the gameboards to a file folder and cut out the skill cards. A way of protecting the skill cards is the put wide clear tape on both sides. Alot cheaper than laminating them. |
