About This Project
Judy Sheppard Huber has been researching homesteaders for some time. One
day she thought how nice it would be to put everything together that she had
found out about homesteaders. She found she could not find every homesteader
in every county in every state. Why couldn't others adopt a homesteader or
tell about their own homesteader and the idea for Homestead Central was born.
