Still Existing Buildings

  1. The Bevo Mill is a resturant in the Dutchtown Neighborhood of South St. Louis. It was originaly a stopping place along Gravois Road for August A. Busch duing his trips from the Brewery out to the country home.

  2. Southwest Avenue is one of the origial streets of St Louis. I have found it on maps going back to 1880. Very typical view on the South side. SW Ave runs along a ridge heading sw away from the city. The fine looking Wagoneer is my "free car!!" as of this edit I have gotten 2700 miles out of it. The snow is all we have had this year in St. Louis so far (4/14/00)

  3. The St. Louis Art Museum Is one of the few remaining buildings left from the 1904 worlds Fair. I can see its roof from my front yard, which is over a mile away.
  4. A city just upstream from St. Louis,Alton, Illinois had an interesting visitor a few years ago. This is a scan of an article published in the Post Dispatch.

More pictures as I get a chance to scan and load. Thanks for looking :)
