Who we are?
We have decided to manifest our full identification openly with the principles reivindication of the Homosexual movement liberation, with their historical fight and with the main currents of their speech.
We affirm the dignity, the genuineness and the human rights of lesbians, homosexual, bisexual and transgender, without distinction of any species.
We also affirm that the freedoms and basic human rights should not be denied by reason of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, language, ethnos, age, economic status, social origin or nationality, state of health or for HIV-AIDS.
We insist in that the promises of the Universal Declaration of the Human Rights are not denied to lesbians, homosexual, bisexual and transgender neither to people that lives or dies for HIV-AIDS.
The association has two fundamental axes, on one hand, the boarding of the homosexual identity. It is important that takes conscience of the own identity so that they can be exercised the human rights fully and civil. It is important to create an atmosphere of respect to our opinions.
On the other hand, we intend to carry out preventive actions in the educational and cultural environment, around the HIV-AIDS pandemic, particularly among men that have sex with men.
We believe that it is important to specify a preventive culture around HIV-AIDS that helps to diminish their incidence in homosexual community and that this is only possible in the mark of the respect to diversity.
We have consolidated as association and we are integrating a communication net among; people, groups, organizations, community agencies, human rights organisms. This is a social net that includes a plural list of family and friends and population in general through which can flow the information that is generated in our community, in the other groups, in the city or in the country. It interests us general reflection and we want to create spaces dedicated to the analysis of our reality. Places for the testimony and for the accusation, as well as helps for who their own identity like a problem still live.
It is not exactly a foundation but a resurgence. The concretion, some years but it takes of a group of ideas, a new one taking of conscience about the Gay and their multiple meanings, a renovated activism that is carried out from the minimum acts of the daily life and that suddenly (for emergency, necessity or exhaustion) they resurge amid the state of encourage of century end/begining.
