CH80/125/150 Elite/Spacy
This is a popular line of four-stroke scooters that have commonly been called "Elite" in the USA and "Spacy" everywhere else. They continue to be sold worldwide, though only the air-cooled 80cc version is currently marketed in the USA, and it appears only the water-cooled 125cc version in
Europe and Japan as of 2000. They are very popular throughout Asia, including Vietnam. It
appears the water-cooled 150cc version is no longer sold, at least under
the Honda name. It's rumored that the 150cc model was made expressly for
the US market, because most US states require a minimum of 150cc to
legally operate on freeways. There are 50cc scooters also sold under the
"Elite" name in the USA, but utilize different engines and have different
model numbers, so they are covered elsewhere. Additionally, there is the
popular CH250 model, which has it's own page as well.
