Outdoor Play Yard
The first 6 years of a child's life involve an incredible amount of physical activity. Children are learning to develop strength and control of their bodies through self-initiated activity. This activity normally enhances the large muscle growth in a child. Some types of outdoor activities that encourage this growth are running, skipping, climbing, jumping, galloping, swinging and hanging from the rings.
Our play yard is equipt with a wooden swing set which has 4 swings, a slide, a merri-go round and rings. We also have a sandbox, riding toys, a teeter toter and a small Little Tikes jungle gym. Our play yard is fenced in and the children are never allowed outside with out a teacher.
