Art Projects
Sound early childhood programs offer daily opportunities for young children to use art materials freely. This means that the children should be allowed to explore, originate and experiment ~ to do what they want to do. This way the child can take pride in what they have created on their own.
We do at least one art project a day at Honeybear Child Care. These are 2 examples of the types of art projects we do.
Paper bag apples in red, green and yellow.
Paper plate faces, the child is able to make his face look like his/her own. This is done by having the child tear the construction paper.
