Month 21 - Language explosion

October 25, 2000
We just came back from our vocation in Washington DC. Tiger behaved beautifully at the airplne. He didn't mind flying. He looked out from the window and saw the clouds and wasn't surprised at all. Then he came back and looked inside and he found the telephone which occupied 3/4 of his time in the plane. He kept taking it down and I kept putting it back. It is really a very exhausting battle. On the way back he looked at outside when the plane took off and fell asleep right there until the plane landed. What a relief!

Tiger's learned more words and sentences too. His language is simply exploding. He repeats everything he hears. He asks questions "What? (Shen mo ya?)" when he found something he doesn't know its name. He hasn't learnt how to use different pronouns yet. When he wants me to feed him, he'll say "Mommy feed you (mama wei ni)" which is what I would say to him. It's very funny.
