Mommy's DiaryMonth 3 - Already talking! - Roll overMay 3, 1999 He is so funny. Today when I nursed him his Dad and Grandma sit with us and chat and he just couldn't resist the temptation to raise his head and look around to see who's talking. And then he smiled a little to me before he went back to eat. So funny! We all couldn't help but laugh. April 30, 1999 He rolled over! Last night when I put him on his tummy on the changing table, he lied down on his side and tried to roll over but he couldn't so he just lied there and talked to the baby photo I post on the wall for a long time. And this morning, just like that, he rolled over! To make sure it's not coincidental, I put him back on his tummy. And sure enough, he did it again! Then he performed this act quite several times for Dad and Grandma too. April 24, 1999
I am so happy! Last night when Tiger woke up for his night feedings, he cried quite differently from before. He actually talked! It was so funny! Before when I hear him crying I feel sad. But this time I only wanted to laugh! He has been cooing for a while to his mobile. He would respond here and there when we talk to him. But this time he was really babbling long sentences! Boy I bet he'll become quite talkative when he grows up. April 23, 1999 Tiger has been having all kinds of problems on his face. He had baby rash in his first two weeks, and then infant acne when he was 4 weeks old, and now he has developed some kind of rash again. It becomes very bad when it is hot or when he cries hard. He scrapes his face all the time, especially when he is sleepy. Last Tuesday I took him to the doctor. It was a cool morning, and he was very happy and the rash didn't look bad at all. The doctor just told us to put some Eucerin cream on his face. However, it doesn't seem to me that it helps him much. April 18, 1999 He is such an adorable baby and really intelligent too. Sometimes when he looks at me at his sophisticated and intelligent look, I feel that I'm the one that really knows nothing. April 11, 1999 Tiger had smiled ever since his third day but recently he really started to smile to us. I really love that toothless grin that he has. And when he cries, he would cry "M-o-m---". Yesterday when I was holding him over my shoulder, all of a sudden he said "Ma". It was so clear, everybody heard that and all of us were shocked at first and burst into laughter a second later. And I said "Aye. Mom's here." I'm sure he doesn't know what he is saying. But it feels so good to say that your child can say "Mom" when he is two month old. |
