| Dr. Hongzhen Chen L.Ac., MS, MD (China) has near 20 years experience in medical area. She grew up in a family with rich experience of traditional Chinese medicine. She received her MD degree from Shanghai Second Medical University, one of best medical university in China, Where she had been trained in both Western and Chinese medicine from1979-1984. She then practiced as a medical doctor with experience of both Western medicine and Traditional Chinese medicine in a hospital in Shanghai China and was Chief MD in that hospital. Dr. Chen had also been trained and practiced in top Chinese medical institutes such as Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Shanghai Research institute of Acupuncture and Meridian. Before she came to Dallas she was trained and practiced in Austin Texas. She holds Master degree of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is a national board certified acupuncturist and herbalist. Other than her own clinic hours, Dr. Chen also offers sessions in Irving Family Medical Clinic with Dr. Sam W. Gao MD., Ph.D. Her mission is to provide professional courteous service and quality workmanship to patients. Dr.Chen and her clinic, HZ Acupuncture & Herb Clinic, are pride of being health provider for majority of health insurance networks and do accept most of insurances which offer our patients of great advantages for their medical needs and costs. |
