Francois according to the 1752 cencus had been living in Macpec for the past 15 years and had been in this country for 40 years. At that time Francois was known as a gentilcomme and a widower he was the owner of four oxen, one cow, two heifers ,two sows, one calf, thirteen ewes and two pigs. In 1758 the British took over the Isle of St. Jean and deported the French Acadians from the Isle.
Francois went to the Ile of St Pierre Miquelon where he died and was burried. Later his two sons Francois and Jean return to Rustico to raised their famlies.
