Hoosier Purple
Welcome to this webpage which will show  photos of my attempts to become a purple martin landlord.  My grandfather and my dad have been trying to get purple martins here on this property for nearly 40 years and if it's the last thing I do, I'm gonna get some purple martins here.  This shows my attempts at becoming a purple martin landlord and I have been doing a lot of research and asking questions from friends here on the internet.  I tried several things in 2001 and had some visitors but no nesting pairs.  I have made several more changes in 2002 and with any luck, this may be my year.  I'm really excited about a major change to my site, a new T-14 I built.  Check out the links below to see what happened in 2001 and what's going on in 2002.

Two Hearts Joined Together
Love is patient, love is kind.  It does not
envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is
not easily angered, it keeps no record of
wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but
rejoices with the truth.  It always protects,
always trusts, always hopes, always
perseveres.  Love never fails.
