| "Barry...You remember correctly about my saying that an eyass GHO will carry prey to you IF properly trained to do so. As will most falcons, accipiters as well. Keep in mind that most of these birds in the wild have favorite feeding perches, your job is to convince them that your fist is that favorite feeding perch. This means that once fledged and into training that they can NEVER eat anywhere else, even when put up for the molt. Actually the molt is a great time to reinforce this by letting them feed up on the fist. | ||
