Lazarus (Hard)

This is a pantomime/instant skit created to teach a Bible story in an ESL program in Taiwan. This skit was used with the kids who have a little higher English level. The story was first taught in Chinese. Vocabulary was introduced next. These words were taught: Mary, Martha, Jesus, brother, sad, happy, sick, dead, alive, pray, not, come, here, say, friend. Next I told the story using the word flashcards. Finally, the kids acted out the story as I read it.

Based on John 11:1-44
