[The teen is on stage, the voice is amplified over a microphone.]

Teen: Everyone thinks I'm so cool now. They couldn't believe it when I swore.

Voice: Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. This should not be. [James 3:10]

Teen: It's no biggie. One swear, that's all.

Voice: You must rid yourself of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. [Colossians 3:8]

Teen: It's just one little swear word.

Voice: Whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. [James 2:10]

Teen: But if I don't swear, nobody will like me.

Voice: If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. [John 15:19a]

Teen: But, but, EVERYONE'S DOING IT!

Voice: Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. [Romans 12:2]
