CATHERINE CARROLL
Wife of Peter Hornery (Bradcock)
Catherine was 17 years old when she was tried in Wexford, Ireland. She was employed as a Housegirl at the time of her arrest. She was accused of being a "Robbing Person", it was her first offence. She was found guilty and transported to Australia. She left the Port of Cork (Cobh), Ireland on the 27th August 1827 on board the "Elizabeth", they arrived in Sydney Cove on the 12th January 1828. The Master of the ship was Walter Cock, the Surgeon was Joseph H Hughes and the Chaplain was the Reverand John Vincent. The ship left with 194 females on board and arrived with 192.
On arrival, she was assigned as a servant to a Mrs Sargeant, living in Sussex Street, Sydney.

Mary Ann was 20 years old when she was tried in Armagh, Ireland.  She was accused of stealing Linen. She was found guilty and transported to Australia for Life. She left the Port of Cork (Cobh), Ireland on the 1st January 1829 on board the "Edward", they arrived in Sydney Cove on the 26th April 1829. The Master of the ship was Jas Gilbert, and the Surgeon was Wm C Watt. The ship left with 177 Females on board and arrived with 174.
On arrival, she was assigned to  J M Blaxland Esq. of "Newington", Bringelly.
