BAIL OUT
(1989)
aka W.B., Blue and the Bean

Starring: David Hasselhoff
and Linda Blair

"May the birds of happiness fly up your nose."

That's just one of the gems that this script provides.  Witness this exchange between Hasselhoff and Blair:

Blair: "You know I still don't know your name."
Hasselhoff: "White Bread...  My friends call me W.B."
Blair: "W.B.?  I love names that start with initials!"

Aargh!  That's enough to make your head spin 360 degrees.

So, Hasselhoff is White Bread, a tennis enthusiast/bounty hunter who is hired by a sleazy bails bondsman to keep an eye on his investment - Blair, who is a millionaire heiress who gets caught up in the drug war between the Columbians and the Iranians (boo!  hiss!).  Despite the fact that White Bread and his pals (Blue and Bean) don't make much money as bounty hunters, they have a large assortment of weapons - grenades, shot guns, smoke bombs, etc.  The weapons get well used as the three amigos wage their own drug war in Baja.

In addition to all this last rate action, there's some comedy in "Bail Out", too.  You can see a bum saving a parking space by sleeping in it, Hasselhoff with a bright white headband playing tennis in slow motion, and Hasselhoff singing "La Bamba" in the shower, to mention just a sampling of the hilarity.  This is one movie you will bail out on after about 5 agonizing minutes.
