MOVIES INVASION OF THE BEE GIRLS
This is a cheesy movie with a cult following. And rightfully so. The plot points are ridiculous and pointless to argue. But, the men of this small town are dying. Apparently the cause of death in all cases is sexual exhaustion. They die during sex. Who could be behind this? Why, the Bee Girls, of course! And I don't mean that little girl from the Blind Melon video... no, these are fully grown women, turned into murdering automatons by some power hungry feminist doctor (I think). Not to worry, there is a government agent on the case (even though he's more interested in getting into the librarian's pants... and who can blame him - Victoria Vetri has got one hell of a rack). ah-hem. Anyway, this is an enjoyable movie. It is a B (bee) movie, but it holds your interest (possibly from all the nudity, but I think more so because the acting isn't all that bad, and the movie keeps moving... it doesn't get bogged down in "science" or big long discussions in which characters might possibly be fleshed out... no no no... it just keeps on truckin' with the bee girls and with the murders... no time to stop and think about what's actually happening). It is super low budget, with the "bee" effects including black contact lenses, and giant sunglasses which make the girls' faces appear bee-like. That's it. The "explosion" scene at the end is laughable. But, like I said, you can get enjoyment out of this one. It's definitely cheesy, but it moves along, and keeps you interested. And there's one scene with a ton of marshmallow cream, a chamber full of bees, and a lesbian kiss. Try writing that into your script! Tagline: "Girls sweeter than honey with the sting of death!"
