MOVIES CANNIBAL!
THE MUSICAL
The brainchild of Trey Parker (one half of the South Park duo), "Cannibal! The Musical" is a low budget comedy about the supposed true story of Alfred Packer, the only man in American history to be convicted of cannibalism. Follow Packer and his crew of miners as they trek to Colorado in the search of gold. Now it wouldn't be called "Cannibal! The Musical" if there wasn't any cannibalism - or music. Throughout their journney, the "diggers" feel obligated to share their thoughts with a song. "The Sky is Blue" and "We Can Build a Snowman" are two of the tunes that'll stick in your head. And when the going gets tough for our trailblazers, the tough get eating - each other! The movie is lame at
times, but many of the jokes are funny and the goofy songs keep you interested.
There's some gore in the film, but not nearly enough for a movie with Cannibal
in the title.
