ESCAPE FROM HELL
(1979)
Starring scantily clad female prisoners

The prisoners of a women's penitentiary are treated horribly day in and day
out.  They are beaten, raped and tortured.  And now, they've had enough.
They decide to escape, and their troubles unfortunately don't end there.

There's not much to the plot here.  We see the cruel treatment of the women
over and over.  We have mediocre acting with english dubbing, which
automatically cheapens the whole movie (not that the movie itself isn't
cheap).  The video quality is poor, looking like a home movie, but it was
the 70s.  But, this is a women in prison movie.  There's not supposed to be
much of a plot, or quality.  And, as a women in prison movie, "Escape From
Hell" delivers.  Not only are the women barely covered with clothing, and
occassionally "fall out", but they are dirty, and sometimes wet.  We get all
the scenes you'd want in such a movie - the group shower, the catfighting,
the outdoor bathing, the lesbian action!  There's also the required rapes
and whippings.  This film borrows both from 70's pornography and 70's
depraved horror.  And it just has a filthy feel to it (in the good and the
bad senses!).
