Rating: *** Two college friends are on holiday, and they go out to one of the girl's family's house in the country. There, a brutal killer forces his way into the house and murders most of the family. One girl is captured, and the other brilliantly escapes his clutches. The tension certainly is high in this movie. You are always on the edge of your seat, and trying to second-guess the character's actions. The violence is brutal, and it's unrelenting. I really enjoyed this movie. That is, until the ridiculous ending. I hate when films do that. Don't get me wrong, I love a good twist. But I can't stand with the twist makes the rest of the film you just watched invalid. You should be able to watch a movie again, after knowing the twist, and still have it make sense - even make you notice things you didn't nootice before. This film does not hold up. There are actions and occurrances (and injuries) that could not possibly happen. Anyway, for the first 80 minutes, it's one hell of an adrenaline rush. Quality:
