Two brothers from the North are driving through the South to get some R&R.  They get run off the road by a few rednecks in a pickup truck, and then have to hitchhike to the closest town.  Of course, they find trouble there - the rednecks who gave them trouble earlieer - and get into a bar fight.  After being saved by the sheriff, but also after they sustained wounds, the boys have to stay overnight in the town.
 
And what a town it is.  No one seems to be around anymore.  People supposedly have the flu.  But there's something fishy going on, and the locals are turning into toxic mutant zombies!  With little bloodsucking orefices in the palms of their hands!  See their toxic flesh push right through glass!   See ordinary bullets kill them!  Marvel at the incredible special effects shot exclusively in the dark!   Not a horrible movie, but certainly a bad one.  Some decent special effects, and an ok story, but certainly nothing groundbreaking.
