I saw the package for this DVD and saw all the guest stars and thought, hmmm, this might be interesting.  I'm no Pauly Shore fan, but the premise, as proposed by the description, sounded funny.  Pauly fakes his own death and we get commentary from stars about it.  I thought it would be a documentary, where the stars would really think he was dead, and we'd get their true comments about him.  That would have been funny.

No, what is actually on the DVD is 82 minutes of Pauly Shore jerking himself and his ego off.  I can't believe this movie got made.  Does he actually think he was a real star and that he's in a slump now?  The "plot" involves Pauly being depressed over his fall from stardom (gag), and after he's visited by his guardian angel, Sam Kinison (hey, wasn't that a Married with Children episode?), he decides to fake his own death to get back in the limelight.  Then, he must have asked his real star friends to be in the movie and pretend that he's dead and comment on him.  Oh man, it was really pathetic.  I can't even imagine a Pauly Shore fan enjoying this movie.  It's not even campy funny.  It just plain sucks.

I mean, yeah, there's a ton of celebrity cameos, and you never know who's coming up next... Paris Hilton, Kato Kaelin, Corey Feldman, Chris Rock, Gerardo....  but their comments are so scripted and disingenuous. And it's like they were paid on how many times they said "fuck".  It was so awkwardly placed in all of their lines.  And if you think their scenes are bad, wait till you see Pauly in this movie.  We see waaaay more of him than you would ever wish to see...  Ugh... I'm dry-heaving while thinking of this movie.  There's no real plot, the script and acting are abysmal, and it's not funny.  Not even in the "so-bad-it's-funny" sense.  Stay away from this one.  You have been warned.
