Some Europeans have started importing Africans as slaves.  And who better to handle these punks than the Black American Bad Ass Detective - John Shaft.  After some convincing by African officials, Shaft agrees to take the case and bring justice to those heading the new slave trade.  He goes undercover as a lowly herder, but the villains know about him and attempts are made on his life throughout his journey from Africa to Paris, where he takes on the big wigs.

The action, attitude, and ladies are all here again, as you would guess.  Some classic Shaft lines, and some awful puns, too.  My biggest beef is with the amount of Shaft nudity.  It's one thing in a sex scene, but when Shaft is stick-fighting naked, or attempting to survive a simulated desert naked, that's too much black ass for me.
