MOVIES TOGA
PARTY
A Southern boy with aspirations of becoming a rock star leaves his ass-backwards hometown (complete with a double outhouse/confessional) for New York. After getting tricked, robbed, threatened and embarrassed in the big city, Pervis is signed to play in a cheesy bar as "Pelvis", an Elvis wannabe. Enjoy his fantastic hits "I know a Man Who Screwed a Chicken" and "Nazi Lady". Of course with his new found rock & roll fame comes sex and drugs. The production quality is poor, the jokes can be funny at times and at other times will make you moan and groan. The story doesn't always make sense, and it does not make the audience interested in this hick, his country-bumpkin girlfriend, the perverted priest chasing them both, or any of the other absurd characters. At least there's a ton of skin in this flick. NOTE: My version of this
movie is titled "Toga Party" which absolutely makes no sense, since there
is not one toga to behold in the entire movie. The internet movie
database (www.imdb.com) says that "Pelvis" is the real title of this piece
of garbage.
