Filmed by Hammer this story is loosely based on the infamous Countess Elizabeth Bathory, the real life Vampire who bathed in the blood of virgins in order to preserve her youth. This is a "special illustrated edition" from the "Redemption press". Illustrations are of an very mild adult nature and not from the 1971 movie.
