With humble beginnings in Germany as a child in the 18th Century, Ignatius Faust Fear II, lived in the shadow of his insane parents (his mother the village witch and father who was a semi-scientist) who daily forced young Ignatius to loath authority and commit acts of crime to get him ready for when he is a 'mighty scientist whom the world shall fear someday."

Outgrowing his youthful peers by being a criminal, Ignatius was bored

and began experimenting with science--as he saw it. Even his father was shocked when young Ignatius would kill family members just to re-animate them for fun! In fact Ignatius senior was jealous! So jealous that Ignatius junior was locked in the cellar for months at a time.

Ignatius junior devised strange and odd angles of performing

scientific experiments before he was 15 years of age! Developing an interest for the supernatural from his mother, Ignatius junior began mixing magic and science together to see the results. Unknowingly, he was practicing Alchemy and Thaumaturgy, ancient and Medieval mystical science. Ignatius junior began to loathe his parents and turned them into toads then sold them at a fair for money to travel. Anyone will buy magic toads when offered wont they?

Anyway, off Ignatius went to study at various universities: Ingolstadt (with Frakenstein), Cairo, Miskatonic and Transylvania, etc obtaining many terminal degrees in Death Studies, Thaumaturgy, the Black Arts, Medieval Metaphysics and Medical Scientific Theory.

Admiring Dr. Frankenstein to the point of crazed obsession, Dr.

Fear was swept up in the hysteria that destroyed Frankenstein's castle at Weisseria and fled to America, taking his equipment, experiments and Mr. Grimly (packed neatly in various boxes for convenient storage and shipping). Mr.Grimly was one of Dr. Fear's early assistants, composed of various body parts and animated just like Frankenstein's monster, except he was placed in charge of doing the labor, not tossing little kids in lakes or terrorizing villagers like Frankenstein's. Mr. Grimly 's body was lost in shipping, leaving only his head.

Moving into a new location in America, an abandoned haunted sanitarium, Dr. Fear found new parts and brought Mr. Grimly back to help him in his new experiments--out of the prying eyes of the maddened villagers. Buried in the sanitarium's own graveyard was something powerful and forbidden, so forbidden that Dr. Fear HAD to master it just to control it!

Freed from her coffin, the vampire Trinka was quickly mastered by Dr. Fear's magical power over her, now she acts as maid and does general servant duties. Trinka lusts for human blood, or any, so much so, she baits Mr. Grimly into helping her do her schemes behind the doctor's back when he is away. If the doc only knew...

Dr. Fear wishes to experiment on the effects of fear on mankind,

in all forms through various projects. But he discovered that the most potent are B-Movies late at night. So he sends them to the viewers from his lab in hopes of weakening them so that by Halloween he will TAKE OVER THE WORLD! But Trinka and Mr. Grimly get in the way and the countless guests who arrive...the job seems never done!
