1) Commend them for creating MURS.
2) Applaud them for ignoring efforts by Motorola, and other, to eliminate the service.
3) Encourage them to continue to ignore efforts by Motorola, and others, who would seek to change the MURS rules in any significant way.
If we petition the FCC as a group of concerned citizens, we will be able to make a more powerful statement. That there exists a group of concerned citizens who support the decision to create MURS, will help them to stand by their decision, and will help them to ignore the efforts of Motorola, and others, who seek to significantly change the service.
