| About Cedric: Cedric Diggory was a "handsome" fifth-year during Harry's third. He was the Seeker on the Hufflepuff House team, and made captain in his fifth year. Amos Diggory, his father, works in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. In his sixth year, Cedric was chosen as a Triwizard Champion. At the end of the tournament, however, he met his demise. He was killed by Lord Voldemort. |
| Why We Love Him: We'll admit it. We thought he was hot. Cedric is described as the 'handsome' seeker of Hufflepuff. The apple to all the girls eyes, especially Cho Chang. He was a kind hearted lovable character. We love him even more for forwarding information about the Triwizard Tournament to Harry. At the end he chose to do the right thing in sharing the title of the Cup with Harry, though it costed him his life. He was humble around others and treated everybody with sufficient respect. He even took the time to kiss Cho good night after the Yule Ball. Perry admits she cried when he was killed, and Willis felt like wringing Wormtail's worthless neck. We will miss Cedric Diggory with all of our hearts. |
