"I'm half and half," said Seamus. "Me dad's a Muggle. Mom didn't tell him she was a witch 'till after they were married. Bit of a nasty shock for him."

"Someone attacking you, Harry?" Seamus asked sleepily.
"No, it's just Dobby," Harry muttered. "Go back to sleep."
"Nah. . . presents!" said Seamus, spotting the large pile at the foot of his bed.

" The what?" said Seamus Finnigan, sounding revolted.
" Pus, Finnigan, pus." said Professor Sprout.

" Harry, you need your strength," said Seamus Finnigan. " Seekers are always the ones who get clobbered by the other team."
" Thanks, Seamus," said Harry, watching Seamus pile ketchup on his sausages.

Snape smirked as he swept off around the dungeon, fortunately not spotting Seamus Finnigan, who was pretending to vomit in his cauldron."

As the whole class held its breath, Lockhart whipped off the cover.
"Yes," he said dramatically. "Freshly caught Cornish pixies."
Seamus Finnigan couldn't control himself. He let out a snort of laughter that even Lockhart couldn't mistake for a scream of teror.
" Yes?" He smiled at Seamus.
" Well, they're not - they're not very - dangerous, are they?" Seamus choked.

" It looks like a grim if you do this, but it looks more like a donkey from here."

Seamus Finnigan is a Gryffindor in Harry Potter's year. He came to Hogwarts as a "half-and-half". He is "sandy-haired" in the book and posesses much Irish pride. Seamus enjoys Quidditch and flying. The way he tells it, he "spent most of his childhood zooming around the countryside on a broomstick." His dislikes include Levitation charms and the subject of Divination. In his third year, he confronted his boggart, a screaming banshee.
More like, how can we not love Seamus? This very Irish, very cute young wizard is the most humorous character in the book aside from the Weasley twins! We can't think of a better insignificant character to adore! His cute quotes and lovable expressions force us to love him, book and movie. (water to rum?!) Now don't get too obsessed with this Gryffindor (like Perry)... or Seamus on you!
