It wan a dark day for Avalanche. Some rag-tag surviving members from shinra banded together to destroy avalanch for what they thought that they did. The leader was a smart mouthed 13 yr old named Gehstal. He led several hudred troops aginst the remaining members and there decendents. First they went out to take down Barret,Marlene,and Vincent. After that Yuffie,Cid,and Reve. Cloud and Tifa where next. Meanwhile at the Kalm hospital Tifa had just had a baby. "What should we name her"Cloud asked" "Modonna" she siad" She wrote Madonna on a card and placed it on the basket. The nurse came and got her as bullet fire shattered the windows. A lamp turned over and the hospital cought fire and Cloud died tring to save Tifa. "NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!"Tifa's scream rang throught the burning building. Just then she fell to her knees then died. Gehstal shot her. He then took the materia off both of them and left.

The nurses put Madonna up for adoption and she was taken within a few weeks and her name was now "Madonna Bradford". For the time being Gehstal was exposing the materia into extreame amounts of mako and Jenova cells. After exsessive dosing they transformed into beasts. Gehstal called them "Espers" Then he forced the Espers to turn the three scientist that helped him into stone. He said that they created them and they should be immortilized. He then tried to drain there powers and creat "super soldiors". After several years he was 21 and finally adopted three children from the hospital to test it on. Kefka,Leo,and Celes. After several years he turned shinra into the "Empire". He was going to try to drain more espers but they fled to another demension. After two years Modonna got in a fight with her parents and ran away. She then arived at the esper world and met Madouin. After a while Terra was born and the empire then invadid the world. Many espers were captured and then drained of all there power.

During that time Madouin was killed and Madonna severly injured. With her last ounce of strength she gave Terra to Gehstal and her last words were "Please take care of my baby". She then tried to take her back when she saw who she gave her to. She stood up and Gehstal finished her off. Gehstal then raised her as a slave and when she was twenty two he placed her in magi-teck armor and put her under comand of Vicks and Wedge. She was in search of two espers that escaped during the raid. One was a dragon and the other was a strange bird that didn't look like it could stand very much cold weather.

When they returned they were emptyhanded in two ways,no espers,and Terra was missing. By now all the citys had been renamed and midgar was torn down and vector was built over the ruins. People warned them it was special land and that it would be bad luck. All who opposed where executed and the people who agreed where made soldiors. There was a resistance group formed by decendents of the very first avalanche,Biggs,Wedge,And Jessie. The oldest,Bannon was Bigg's oldest. They where the only ones who stood between the empire and world domination.

Soon the returners became much stronger and acctually thretend the empire. Soon Kefka went mad and missused his powers. He poisend a castle and tried to kill off all the espers. He was jailed and the empire met with the returners and lied to them about peace and disposing of kefka. Soon the empire showed his lie by making the gate to the esper world float up into the air.

The returners eisily stopped them but he disrupted the worlds balance as a last act of evil. On that day the world was changed forever. The world was no longer in balance, it was in ruin. The wrold that once supplied energy and life was now a monument to non-exitance.
