"Damn it Tifa just put Cloud on!" Said Cid impatiently.

"Well fine then, if you what o be that way!" Tifa said and pushed the phone to Cloud.

"AHH damn it Cid you had to [put her ion a bad mood, What the hell do you want!?" Said Cloud

"Well I need you to pull a few string for me at the Shinra building, I need to get a few friends into the labs, so I’ll be around to pick you up in a minute!" Cid didn’t wait for Cloud to answer he turned off his Phone and shoved it in his pocket.

"Well I better get ready." Said Cloud

"Well I’m coming too. it’s not like Cid said anything about me." Tifa said getting her gloves.

"You where listening in on the other phone weren’t you! Well your right and I guess we have no choice but to let you come." said Cloud

Cid arrived at Costa Del Sol in only a few minutes, Cloud and Tifa boarded the Highwind using the rope ladder Cid dropped down for them. Cid was surprised when Tifa’s head popped up over the railing, "What is she doing here?"

"I’m here case I want to be so there!" Said Tifa.

"I couldn’t stop her, she insisted that she come." Said Cloud

"Oh Well, but since your here I guess there ain’t no reason to send you back, a party of 3 is usually the best" said Cid as if he had a choice.

"So why actually do you need to get into the Midgar labs??"

"Well follow me and you can see your yourself.." Cid said leading them to the infirmary.

Cid opened the door, Ramus and Cyris looked at them, and then back at Nanaki, he was awake again but his eyes where black, lifeless, "Who are you???" asked Tifa looking at Cyris and Ramus.

"I’m Cyris Nanaki’s Brother and this s Ramus." Said Cyris

"Nice to meet you, I’m Tifa and this is Cloud. But what happened to Red??"

"That’s easy, some old flying guy attacked him, Red Called him grandfather, we ran down to check it out and when I went to attack he disappeared." said Cid

"I don’t get it what would Burgenhagen attack him??" said Cloud

Tifa walked up to the bed Nanaki was strapped in he was lying there shaking, he didn’t recognize anyone, Tifa reached out to touch him, he jumped at her touch, but it seemed to bring some shed of his humanity around, the darkness faded away one again and he was himself, for the moment.

"Ti - T - Tifa, where am I, my head hurts." red stuttered

"shhh. Don’t worry Red we’ll have you fixed up soon." Said Tifa

It didn’t take long for them to reach Midgar, Cloud, Tifa, and Cyris climbed down the ladder, Ramus stayed behind with Cid, and Nanaki was lowed down using the elevator in the infirmary. on the second layer of Midgar they unloaded Nanaki from the elevator. "Well he’s all yours from here" Said the assistant as he got back on the elevator.

Cloud wheel’s the bed into the Shinra building and flashes his pass at the guards, the guards let him pass, Nanaki is brought to a back elevator, they all get on and Tifa pushes the button for the 64th floor as the doors about to close a scientist rushes for the door, making it just in time he gets on.

"Cloud nice to see you again, I saw you come in."

"Hello professor Aegis Fox how are you doing? Sorry to bother you but think when we get up to the labs you can take a look a my friend??"

"Well sure, I don’t see why not, but who is that" Says Aegis pointing at Cyris

"Ah ya this is Cyris Nanaki’s brother."

"What an interesting specimen" Aegis cocks an eyebrow

"Well where there" Tifa opens the door and Aegis, Cyris, and Cloud pushing Nanaki strapped to a bed walk out of the small enclosure.

"Ok right this was, I have a new lab just down the hall, it has everything." Said Aegis grinning from ear to ear.

Aegis opens the door to his office, Cloud wheel’s Nanaki into and takes a quick glance around the room, "Wow your right this lab is loaded." Cloud says and places the cart with Red on it beside the metal lab table.

Cyris looks around the room, he starts to get nervous and decides he want to look around the building a bit, jumping up on a stool; he placed a paw on his brother’s shoulder.

"See you later Brother." He said jumping down from the stool, and walking quickly out of the room.

Wandering around the floor seeing all the labs made him feel even more nervous, so he got on the Elevator and standing up on his hind legs one paw resting on the controls he used the other to go to 65, more labs there so he left and went to 66, Cyris didn’t even bather stepping off the elevator, he just closed the door and pressed 67.

67 was just more labs but something seemed familiar about it, he got off and wandered around that floor, finding the specimen elevator he took it to the 68th floor, his head started to hurt, another memory was coming back to him,

The same scientist that sliced them open was attacking a metal headset like thing to his head, it acted like a muzzle, but it was far more complicated. It was fastened on tight and it help his eye’s open, moistening them occasionally. His lips where pulled up, bearing his teeth, the headset was hooked up to a network of cables , the rest is a blur.

All he knew was that many experiments where performed here and that he was kept in here after all of them.

Cyris ran to the elevator and went back down to the 64th floor and walked quickly to the room where Nanaki was, everyone but Aegis was standing outside,

"What’s going on??" Asked Cyris.

"Well Aegis is taking some X-rays of your brother it’ll be awhile" Said Tifa.

"Ok"

Cyris jumped up on to the seat beside Cloud. Cloud unconsciously started petting him, Cyris looked at Cloud funnily.

"Sorry force of habit I guess" Said Cloud.

Cloud moved his hand a bit and Cyris looked at him "You don’t have to stop it feels kinda nice." Said Cyris trying to look serious.

Aegis came out of the room and told everyone it was safe to go back in now, Cyris was the first to go in and went right to the stool that was beside Red.

"So Aegis what’s wrong with him???" Asked Cyris hoping for an answer.

"Well I don’t know I can’t find anything Physically, so it might be mentally. I’ve called in a psychiatric evaluator Her name is Daniella, but she won’t be able to get here until morning, so in the mean time I’ll take you to the Inn." everyone but Cyris followed Aegis to the Inn, he stayed there beside his brother.

Night came fast, as well as sleep, Cyris had fallen asleep on the floor beside the table. His dreams plagued with images horrible images.

"Ho , I see that they left you with out a guard Nanaki, no I must finish what I started, but instead I will make you my slave." his voice echoed thought out the lab as he materialized out of thin air.

Burgenhagen shot a beam of light from his hands at Red, his body lurched and twitched as his soul was ripped away.

"There now it’s complete! hahaha." Burgenhagen floated to the table and released the straps keeping Nanaki fastened to the table

"Who are you and What did you do to my brother!" Cyris said leaping for Burgenhagen but he missed.

"Now Nanaki I want you to KILL your brother!" said Burgenhagen as he disappeared.

Nanaki rose to his feet his one eye gleaming in the faint light, it was empty void of live, all he was now was an empty shell.

Cyris growled as Nanaki pounced on him, biting into his shoulder, Nanaki swung him across the room into a wall. Picking him up again he tossed in the other direction, Cyris was taking a beating, he got up and attacked, his claw’s garbed at Nanaki and ripped a hole in his side, it had no affect on him. Cyris bit into Nanaki’s leg, still no affect he just kept attacking.

Nanaki swiped his claws across Cyris’s neck slicing into it with the greatest of ease. Cyris was laying on the ground, Nanaki garbed his neck in his vice like jaws and began to choke his brother. Cyris was bleeding, badly, nothing he did could break out of his older and stronger brothers grasp. Cyris twisted around and bit into Nanaki’s neck in a final attempt to break free from his choking grasp, Nanaki recoiled, from shock and bit Cyris’s leg.

Cyris could only take so much, "NOVA BEAM" Cyris cast his limit break, a small star appeared in front of him, Nanaki laughed, the light from the star intensified id got so bright that Nanaki had to cover his eyes, by then it exploded sending the full force of the blast at Nanaki, sending him flying out a window.

"I’ll be back for you brother your time will come!!!" he screamed as he fell to the ground below, tears welled in Cyris’s eye’s, as he fell over almost dead and passed out.
