About - Saiyuki begins with the premise that humans and demons used to live in the same world in peace and harmony. However, someone tried to use magic and chemicals together to revive a sleeping demon who had been sealed and unleashed mayhem in the world. The gods call opon their priest, Sanzo (a very unpriestly character), to seek out this evil and put a stop to it. Sanzo is made to travel to the west with three demons with humanlike appearance, and he is none too pleased with the company. The story follows Sanzo, Hakkai, Goku and Gojyo on their journey as they each learn about each other and grow together on their quest to stop the evil that has been unleashed. of my best animes now... it has great characters and nice animation
and every episode is packed with action. The story is great and deep
and its gonna get you hooked. Once you watch about three or five episodes,
you will want to watch all of them. While the anime is all action,
there are comedy scenes mostly between Goku and Gojyo. All the characters
designs are awesome, both the good guys and the bad guys, also both
the intro and outro theme are superb. Saiyuki is definetly worth getting
