This hot spring is known as Travertine, located up near Bridgeport, California. A very well kept pool, cleaned on a constant basis by the locals, it is a very nice place to relax, the view is incredible as you can over look the entire city of Bridgeport. Although this is a very busy pool, the company there has usually been incredible. The source is a small inlet from the rocks that actually shoots upwards at a decent pace, then the mineral water travels down through the middle of some rocks, down 3- 4 short steps into the pool. Its hard to tell from this photo, but the "carpet" that is in front of the pool actually has a sort of back rest to lean up against as you sun yourself. Off to the side of the carpet, you can sort of see the water inlet and steps I am speaking about. That odd looking stuff where the water comes in is the Travertine Mineral that forms from the water. If you decide not to soak in this one here, there are 3+ pools located a short distance away down a dirt road, and 1 that we recently found a ways out, looked to be a 1 - 2 person pool but deep and hot. We didnt try that one though.
