The Transition Stage: A New Direction in Healthcare by Donald J. Boles MD.

THE TRANSITION STAGE CONSULTATION:

I am offering a unique and original form of medical consultation that I have developed. I am offering an special form of consultation that will draw upon personal health inventories, past medical records, and a very frank analysis of the current and future healthcare needs of an individual so that he may plan for a successful retirement. A current medical treatment plan as well as a future preventive maintenance plan will result from this meeting.

This special consultation is not for everyone, since it is not cheap. It is relatively inexpensive if you compare it to the prices at the major medical institutes in this area. (Then it may be a great bargain, with the further advantages of follow-up and continuity of care in the local setting.) The consultation fee probably won't be covered by insurance companies, unless a special option for executive physicals is included. This will NOT be a plan paid for by Medicare. This will not be a consultation offered by the HMOs. The higher cost of this consultation and analysis will not be intended for the HMO crowd who are accustomed to the type of healthcare they receive for their $10 co-pay. I would be glad to see the HMO patients take advantage of this consultation, since they are the ones who might benefit the most from hearing what their plans will never tell them, and finding out what they need to insist on from their plans.

This consultation is aimed at the business professional and spouse, ages 50 - 65, who are exceptionally motivated, are willing to fiercely confront their healthcare needs, pay for it, and to put forth the time and effort to achieve good results. Appointments are being taken at (480) 895 - 1090. Individuals planning their visit will receive further documents and instructions by mail.

Remember: your yearly "physical" is not provided to you by Medicare. The "executive physical" that is offered to many company executives or typified by the Mayo Clinic physical, is also not provided under Medicare. I am suggesting that we do comprehensive assessment and planning for your health before major medical problems occur.
