I didn't know much about euthanasia really until today, and now I can say that I am for it. Really, what is the purpose of having some lying there vedgetative for ten year, relying on tubes to live. we need to understand that these patients are no longer
live, that the spirit that makes them themselves is not present anymore and we should let them go. Thinking about them instead of ourselves. Thank you for letting me say my opinion, because I will not be able to do so in my essay! :)

To those concerned with the safety and the future of our children,
We are very concerned about the confusion surrounding the recent shocking events in Littleton, Colorado. For example, we hear Tipper Gore, the Vice President's wife, preaching about the need for increased mental health intervention in our schools.
This is totally backward. THE PROBLEM FACING OUR SCHOOLS TODAY IS INCREASED MENTAL HEALTH INTERVENTION IN OUR SCHOOLS.
The two children who went on the rampage in Littleton had seen psychiatrists and were on psychiatric "medications." "Mental Health" had intervened in their lives. Despite the vehement protests of drug companies like Eli Lilly and the armies of "expert
itnesses" they pay to testify on their behalf, drugs such as Prozac and Ritalin are dangerous, addictive, psychoactive drugs. Hostility and suicidal tendencies are a natural side effect of such drugs. These side effects will only affect a small percentag
of children -- perhaps between 1% and 2% -- but out of the more than 5,000,000 school children who are now being compelled to take such drugs, a few will have extreme reactions. Yes, it is true there were other factors that contributed to these particul
r children going on a killing rampage, but it took the drugs to push them over the edge. The drugs were the catalyst.
Why is this so hard to accept? We knew this back in the '60's. Everybody understood when drug users went crazy on psychoactive drugs. Why is it so hard to believe today? We are forcing our children to take psychoactive "medications". Why should we b
surprised when some of them go crazy?
Search the Web using the single word 'Prozac' or 'Ritalin.' It's quite an eye-opener. Read about the medical studies and the court cases. In a very real sense, some drug company was an accomplice to the of 13 innocent people in Littleton, Color
do. And numerous others besides, such as the killing spree that happened last year in Springfield, Oregon. This may not be an easy thought to digest, but it is true nonetheless. Psychiatric "medications" have side effects which can cause some children
o kill.
I repeat: We do not need psychiatric intervention. The mental health "professionals" started intervening heavily in our schools with their drugs and their other psycho-oriented programs less than ten years ago. It is no coincidence that the number of
tudent suicides and s are on the rise in that same period of time. Twenty years ago s and suicides were virtually non-existent in our schools despite a similar availability of firearms and the prevalence of violent TV shows and movies. Killi
g sprees like the one in Littleton and Springfield, Oregon were virtually non-existent. The change has come since the psychiatrists got into our schools. I repeat: This is a 100% correlation, not a coincidence. The alarming increase in student violenc
was not a spontaneous, mysterious occurrence. It was created by putting kids on psychiatric drugs. Go to
