PEACE
"A calm river that flows from God when I have done all I know to do and trust that He will be faithful to give me His best if I give my utmost for His glory.Submitted By Jamie
Peace- Sitting in Higher Power's presence and not saying or actively doing anything, communication goes heart to heart here no words need be spoken, everything is still.

LOVE
"Love is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud,
never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way. It is not irritable or touchy.
It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong.
It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out.
If you love someone you will be loyal to them no matter what the cost.
You will always believe in them, always expect the best of them, and always stand your ground in defending them."

HARMONY
"When the melody inside my soul & heart is in tune with God's will"
submitted by Jamie
Every time I think of "harmony" I keep seeing a barber shop quartet. 4 unique voices, 4 different voices, but when joined in song they create a whole new sound. A wonderful sound. For me that is what harmony means, "a joining together of different voices". It is like an AA group, many distinct, unique people, people who in everyday life would never work as a group let alone know each other, but as an AA group they join together to form a "whole" working for the benefit of all. One voice may be rough, gruff and mean, another voice small, timid and another loud and whailing, but when the group is working as a unit, in harmony those voices blend together to share the great message of saving grace to those in need. Each voice may have it "solo" part, each voice may seem individual and unique but without the others they would just be "whistling in the dark".
Harmony is working together, harmony is rising above our individual needs, seeking to help rather than be helped. Harmony is putting aside our own wants to help someone who is in pain.
Thank God for the harmony that was available to me in those early days of sobriety and still is there.

FAITH
"Faith is surrendering to God and believing in His will for me. It is not something that can be bought nor is it something that can be taught by others. Faith is trust. Faith is freeing the spirit. Faith is asking for help when I can't do it on my own. Faith starts with step one and is defined by step three. When I made the decision to turn my will and my life over to the care of God, I learned faith. I hold the key that opens the door; it is God that takes my hand and guides me through it.

SELF-FORGETTING
" When I am looking up to Him in prayer and meditation I don't think of looking down at myself. Looking at Him only makes one focus at serving Him and He reminds you of serving others."
