About me...

I was born in 1960 in the town of Eleftheroupolis, Kavala county, Northern Greece.

I graduated in 1978 from Tripolis high school in Peloponnese and studied medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Medical School (1978 - 1985).

I was specialised as a resident dermatologist at the "Andreas Sygros" University Hospital of Athens.

Since Aug 2003 I am Chief of the Dermatologic clinic of the 401 General Military Hospital, Athens, with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

I am member of :

the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology

the American Academy of Dermatology,

the International Society of Dermatology and

the Internet Dermatologic Society.

Here I am ...

My parents, Dimosthenis and Vasiliki, live in Nestani, a beautiful village 13 km outside Tripolis. Here is a view of Goulas (a wild rock with a monastery) from their garden. My brother George lives with them. George is a dentist having his private practice in Tripolis. He graduated from the University of Thessaloniki.

My family : This is my wife Dimitra and these are our two sons, Dimosthenes & Philipos.  Dimosthenes was born in 28 Dec 1995 and Philipos in 6 Apr 2000. Aother photo of children, here

* Nick Betas is one of my best friends. Nick has studied Economics in the University of Athens. This photo is from our trip in Egypt in 1990.

* Here we are, sailing on the Nile, Dr Elias Alvertis (Dermatologist), Nick Betas and me (Egypt 1990).

* George Anagnostou is by far the best graphic artist in Tripolis !
