Meet September '96 Adult Branch Group, Lancaster
This is Kim Leong- one of our fantastic tutors!
Chrissie Allen is 22 and from Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria. She is famous for yawning a lot and falling asleep in class! She wants to nurse in the armed forces, but we don't know how she'll manage all the early mornings!
Helen Park is also 22. She lives in Bentham in Yorkshire and would like to become a Practice Nurse.
Jane Tomlinson lives in Endmoor, Kendal and is the proud single mum of three daughters, Kristy (10), Kelty (8) and Keisha (6). How on earth does she manage being a full time mum and a nursing student?! She is particularly interested in Accident & Emergency nursing.
Jenny Robinson is 23 and lives in Lancaster. She is something of a workaholic, but chills out on her days off by driving up and down the motorway to Wigan to see her 'dearly beloved' boyfriend Ian. Jenny is interested in Oncology Nursing and would eventually like to work in Hospice care.
Kelly Paul is 21 and lives in Kendal. I've worked alongside her for a lot of my practical placement time, and she is great company to work with. Kelly would like to work in the community as a practice nurse.
Michelle Greenhowe is 20 and also live in Kendal. She is getting married in March '99 to Jonathan who is a farmer. As well as being a farmer's wife (which is a job in itself!), Michelle is interested in surgical nursing.
Tendayi Masuko is 25 and lives in Lancaster, although she comes from Zimbabwe. She was originally planning to do Learning Disabilities Nursing, but changed her mind after a placement on a long-stay elderly medical ward and is now following the adult branch, and we're all glad she changed her mind to be with us!
