About these pages ...

What does pink S, blue T, orange A, green C, yellow I and purple E spell? Those letters, in those colors, spell Stacie. She was Barbie's littlest sister back in 1992, and she enjoyed her reign as such for two long years. Then came someone even younger -- Barbie's baby sister Kelly -- (c) 1994. This site serves as a comprehensive identification site, and our goal is to itemize and picture everything regarding Barbie's Littlest Siblings & Friends beginning with Stacie's immediate precursor, Wedding Day Kelly, in 1991, to the present.

Obviously, we have left Skipper out of the mix here, agreeing that Scott Arend's book on Skipper serves as the definite work on that doll. We will concentrate on these littlest dolls of the nineties in an attempt to not miss a single shoe! There is so much that has been dished up this decade regarding the littlest siblings and friends, it is better to start now before the project becomes unwieldy.

A short word about me ... My name is Marsha Radford. Previously, I wrote for Barbie Bazaar under my former name Marsha McLaughlin. I now write for Miller's Fashion Doll. I spend a lot of my Barbie time on eBay, which is where I met my new friend Carolyn Burt, who is the perfect person to assist me as a sounding board and more. As avid about Kelly as I am, she has left many of her Kelly items NRFB whereas I have taken mine out and turned my home into a virtual curio cabinet. So, with Carolyn's help, we may be able to show you things out of box, close up, as well as NRFB. Special thanks also go to our new friends Katarina Sandberg and Laurel Willoughby (listed alphabetically by last name so that one isn't "put before" the other). Both Katarina and Laurel have contributed photos and information liberally to the site and are thanked profusely. Laurel wants me to stipulate that any information provided is "to the best of our knowledge." As eBay so humorously puts it next to their running time check for Pacific Standard Time: "this is what time ebay THINKS it is."

As if things weren't great enough, our friend Karin Roberts serves as maintainer/moderator/mediator and more of America's first (to our knowledge) and best (in our opinion) KellyKlub. If you REALLY love Kelly and the hunt for ALL THINGS KELLY, then we're hoping you will join!

Continuing along ... In trying to determine a way to organize this site, I thought we would do it by the year at first, going by the (c) date on various products to place them on the timeline. We will be offering hyperlinks to take you through the years and, as this site is being built, from 1991 to the present, we will also be building/offering a checklist so you can see what you have/don't have, want or don't want. If you're like us, you'll want it ALL! Eventually, I think this site will be broken down by doll, since many people like Kelly but do not want to wade through Stacie stuff to get to her! I guess we all agree, Kelly is our favorite!

Your input is valued and appreciated. We want you to feel at home here and have fun! If you would like to contact me, you can email me at raddoll@thegrid.net. If you would like to contact Carolyn, you can email her at Cbtalkers@aol.com. If you would like to contact Karin, you can email her at pinkkar@aol.com. Thanks! P.S. Of course, we need to make clear that we are not a site licensed by or affiliated with Mattel per se; that we are discussing products (dolls, etc.) which are the property of Mattel; and that we take full responsibility and kudos for the success of this site, with acknowledgement to Mattel that if they hadn't issued these cute products, we wouldn't be here to discuss them!
