when I was first learning to give attunements, I practiced by giving Reiki I to all three of my dogs. It seemed to put Champ in severe detox-but he was much happier after the cleanse.Pretty Girl-the 12 year old-just smiled a lot. Morgause (Gaysa)took the whole thing very seriously. She pondered me with her nearly black eyes...I always am astounded by the intelligence of that dog.Little did I know...
That was six months ago. Although we did end up with fleas, I think the dogs overall have been healthier than ever-this is a 12 year old English Cocker with cancer,a 10 year old English Cocker Spaniel with cataracts, and a five year old English Cocker Spaniel with definite tonsil problems/bad breath.In defense of this breed,they are usually extremely healthy-can’t remember the last vet bill for anything but shots and routine care...except for the cancer removal which was deemed to be too late-it had metastasized-six months at most to live-but here it is,a year later-we are doing well! They love my pal Carol, whom they stay with when I travel, but with me they hold out a little, don’t trust me completely-except for Gaysa. She has always been a bit shy and fearful-her best friend was an Irish Setter, Merlin. They were both too smart and escaped from the kennel repeatedly-so I got to have my most special babies in the house! Gaysa did not like shows but had a most lovely litter of children. I am grateful to have her in my life.
She has taken to planting herself firmly at the feet of anyone I am giving healings or attunements to-well, I tend to only attract animal lovers, so it must be OK. Just the other day,as I was giving a healing to a woman in a great deal of emotional distress, Gaysa-from the couch, where I had sent her, started telepathing that she wanted to help! I said- ”do you want to use your paws?” and she reached out from the couch with one paw and tried to touch the woman in the chair-using her paws the way I do my hands!!!
so I guess I’ll just let her help from now on.....
A few weeks ago, I got a call from a friend, frantic that she was going to lose her dog, Brownie. he had had blood in his urine and a mass had been detected in his bladder. The Veterinarian was to operate the next day. she asked me to do an absentee healing. As I meditated for a bit and then moved into the healing, I saw a large ball roll out of Brownie's bladder. I knew he was OK. I told her this two days after the surgery. She said "that is just what the vet described! a large mass that wasn't well attached and just fell out. It wasn't cancer.!" so was I a healing channel or just given the message it was OK don't bother? Don't know!!!
