Jen, Joey and Dawson spread out the stack of stories and searched for part three.
Joey: Damn it. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack
Dawson: Or a needle in a stack of needles.
After more searching finally Jen found part three.
Pacey: It sure took you long enough.
Dawson, Jen and Joey scowled at him.

Disclaimer:
Jen: Oh, no not another one of these.
I disclaim, therefor I don't claim ownership of characters or places. In the end all things belong to someone, and it usually ain't me.
Pacey: This one sorta makes sense.
Murphy's law is a mathmatical equation.
Jen: That makes no sense though.
Dawson: There is no use analyzing the disclaimer for ever. Let's just move on to the actual story. We have already wasted enough time thanks to Pacey.
Part Three ~ For the Boys
Jen is on her front porch sipping coffee when she sees Joey climb out the window. Walking over to say good morning, she notices that Joey's crying. "Joey are you okay?"
Pacey: Since she is crying, my guess I is no.
Joey smiles, a real smile and nods. "I think so, then again maybe not,"
Dawson: Wow, that is a quick mood change.
She walks toward the dock. "Look, I want to apologize for the way I've been acting. I've been a real bitch, and it wasn't fair to you. Dawson was the center of my world for so long that I couldn't adjust to not being the center of his."
Jen smiles, "It's okay, I understand. Really, I understand."
Pacey: Jen understands something! Call CNN!
Still a little misty eyed, "Good, can you explain it to me?"
Pacey: I doubt it.
Jen begins to wonder what could have brought such a drastic change to the girl she's been trying to befriend for the past 3 months "What happened?"
"Pacey and I finally talked things out last night. We seem to be friends again." Joey looks down in thought, "Or maybe more then friends. Then Dawson comes home this morning and starts a fight because he was jealous of Pacey and me spending time together without fighting." she sighs, "I think I was a little too hard on him, I hope he can forgive me."
Joey: Wait a minute! Just a second ago, she was fuming mad! Now she hopes she'll forgive him. Talk about mood swings.
Jen: Maybe she's PMSing.
"No matter what, Dawson loves you. He'll forgive you, besides you know all his secretes you can blackmail him into forgiving you."
"Yeah, but how much does he love me? And I don't mean girl boy, I mean, in the end, what will be left of his love for me."
Joey: That sounds like a Harlequin Romance novel. I can picture some southern belle lying on a chaise lounge in a hoop skirt, saying, "In the end, what will be left of his love for me?"
Jen who, was facing inland, sees Pacey coming out of the window. "Well, it looks like the window should have a traffic light."
Dawson: Or a lock.
Joey is jolted out of her thoughts. "What?" she says confused. Then she follows Jen's line of site to Pacey as he climbs down the latter.
Joey: Ladder not latter.
Pacey sees them, and starts forward. "Are you okay Joey?" He says as he touches her arm.
Dawson: It's hard to tell. One minute she is, one minute she isn't.
"Yeah I'm fine, how is he? Do you think I was too hard on him?"
Dawson: I do.
"He's confused and frustrated, but he'll get over it. Everything's going to be all right, and you didn't have to make oven mitts all summer."
Dawson: Huh?
Joey: Remember psycho camp?
Dawson: Oh yeah.
"Bad comparison, Pacey.
Jen: Very bad
If this goes on much longer I just might have to though."
"Don't worry, Jen and I could always come and bust you out. Look I'm going to go home and get grounded now, are you going to be all right?"
Dawson: Now? Or in 5 minutes?
"Sure, and anyway, I was about to ask Jen if she wanted to spend the day at the beach with me. sans the male species." Joey says trying to stop Pacey's for worrying.
"I'd love to." Jen chimes in.
Joey: Oh, how nice. They're gal pals now!
"So it's settled, I'll see you in school Monday." Pacey pretends a pained look when he mentions school. After debating it, Pacey kisses Joey on the check.
Jen: Ohhhhhh
Dawson: Hubba-hubba.
Joey:Oh lala!
Jen raises her eyebrow. As he walks away, she says "So, you spent the night in Dawson Leery's bedroom, with Pacey, without Dawson. Then, Dawson walks in and you have a fight." Jen smiles, "I wish I could have been a fly on that wall."
Joey: Dawson probably would have squashed you.
Joey laughs, "Yeah, that about sums it up. You should have seen Dawson's face when I said I wasn't going to take his crap anymore. Come on lets go, we're wasting prime sunning time. I'll tell you the edited version on the way to the beach."
For the first time Jen and Joey seem to be totally comfortable with each other. When they enter the room Jen turns the radio on, and Natalie Imbruglia's Intuition comes on
~Intuition tells me how to live my day, intuition tells me when to walk away, should have turned left, but I turned right, and I ended up here, bang in the middle of a real life.. and I feel alright~

Jen: Well, that one is over.
Pacey: Not bad ..Not great.
Dawson: Time to find the next one?
Joey: Unfortunately.
