Welcome to the Mount Vernon SubSchool Five Music Program. Music is offered to students in our subschool as a related service and elective course for students attending Mount Vernon Center.
Students have the opportunity to experience music and education on various levels. The program offers instruction on guitar, piano, synthesizers, percussion, drum set, vocal styles, recording and live sound techniques. Students enrolled in the music program are given life skills through the various music experiences in the class. Among the student's musical experiences are performances, recitals, recording projects, music composition and field trips.
Students are given the opportunity to succeed in an environment tailor made to their needs.
