This lesson is all about double side borders, as you can see here again
Again, what you need here is a " transparent " image ( blank.gif ) for this to work as intended.
Your " blank.gif " does NOT have to be very high at all, BUT you need to make sure that it is slightly wider than you left / right sided image, so that your text / images sit correctly on the main body of the webpage. You can do this just by changing the " width " in your HTML coding.

These is also another way to make something similar to this style. It is more easier to work with, but slightly less attractive
