The beautiful, 6’1”, Taurus, better known as David Boreanaz, was born David Patrick Boreanaz, Jr., on May 16, 1971, in Buffalo, NY. David grew up with his father Dave Roberts, his mother Patti, and his two sisters, Beth and Bo. David went to high school at Malvern Prep, in Philadelphia, PA, where he played football until a knee injury forced him to give it up. After he had graduated from high school, David attended Ithaca College in New York where he studied for a film degree.
After four years of study in New York and a film degree, David moved to Los Angeles in the hope of finding work in film production. David's first job in television and film was as a prop master. After some confusion on set David ended up in front of the camera instead of behind, this gave him the inspiration to try acting as a career. After a few guest spots on various television series’, David landed the role of Angel on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. This role skyrocketed David’s career. He was so popular on BTVS, that they made a spin-off show starring David, called Angel, which you can catch on the WB right after Buffy.
Currently David lives in Los Angeles, CA, with his two dogs, Bertha-Blue, and Fritz. He married an Irish social worker, named Ingrid, but due to irreconcilable differences, they filed for divorce on October 15, 1999. In his spare time, David likes to hike, go mountain biking, read, and listen to music, (his favorite band: Grateful Dead). He also plays golf, basketball, and football. If you’re planning on cooking him a meal anytime soon, David loves eggs benedict, and Philly cheese steak sandwiches. |
