Scott Speedman
Biography
Robert Scott Speedman was born September 1, 1975, in London, England. He grew up in Toronto, Canada, with his parents Mary, and the late Roy Speedman. He has one older sister named Tracey. Scott attended Earl Haig High School, and after graduation went to the University of Toronto. Scott was even on the Junior National Swim Team, and he ranked among the best in Canada at distance freestyle. (You know, you’ve seen him swim in Felicity!! )
Scott got started in acting when a girlfriend dared him to go on Speakers Corner (a Canadian show that's aired once a week with the combination of the people who paid their buck to have their say) and apparently a director was in town and saw him and thought he was perfect for the part of Robin in Batman Forever. He contacted Scott and he auditioned. The part later went to Chris O’Donnell, but Scott got an agent, and now we see him weekly as Ben Covington, on the WB show, Felicity.
