Wes Bentley
Biography
Wes Cook Bentley was born on September 4, 1978, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He grew up in Mountain Home, Arkansas, until the 10th grade, when he moved to Sherwood, Arkansas. He lived with two older brothers, Jamey and Philip; one younger brother, Patrick; and his parents David and Cherie (both Methodist ministers).
Wes attended Sylvan High School in Sherwood, Arkansas. He was in Drama Club, and also competed in many forensics competitions such as: solo acting, poetry, and words and music. He also loved soccer and was co-captain. During his senior year, Wes also starred in a local production of Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Wes then attended Julliard School in New York and worked in Henry IV, Part I and The Weavers. Besides acting, Wes has also been employed at his local Blockbuster Video, been a waiter at TGI Friday’s on Long Island, and participated in Murray’s Dinner Theatre in Little Rock.
Wes currently resides in Los Angeles, and is single (wink, wink)
